Character sheet:
Name: Leocad Harakk Zanzi Nie Sonseller (and he's very proud of his name), aka Leo
Race: Liannon
Age: 135 (mature adult)
Gender: Male
Personality: Ironic and talkative, Leo is quite the opposite of the ordinary view about the Liannon as an introverted people that values discretion. Not even slightly shy, he can make a speech about anything, but can also be quiet and stealthy if really, really necessary. He's very smart, and can act like a buffoon or an ellegant noble, sometimes both. Leo also has expressive chin, and is far less foolish than he seems to be. He's strangely attached to Erberus, the one he puts all his trust.
Appearance: Leo is 7' tall, covered in a short sand/light gold colored fur, what makes him stand out in the crowd. His clothes, attitude and words just worsen this impression. His body is slim, muscular and strong, normal for his race, Usually dressed in light silky vests, wearing small glasses balancing in his face/snout, in front of bright dark and deep blue eyes, very expressive. Normally, he's smiling, smirking or chuckling, with that expression that says 'I know a secret, but I won't tell you'. Like most Liannon, his feet are prehensile, even far less dextrous than common hands; but enough to grab in a climb, swing or hold objects.
Weapons/Equipment: uses a light armor under his silky clothes, protecting his chest, high abdomen, arms and legs from blades or arrows. His only weapon is a long staff, made from a light metal, encarved with runes that make it infrangible (something he stole from his old master). He won't use letal weapons against any foe. Leo always have a long handle bag with many things: a small knife, herbs, a shallow pot, another pair of glasses, cups, coins, something stolen from someone else, a scarf...
Magical Skills/Gifts (if any): He can understand the language of the Sylph, and can also hear spirits. Usually, random spirits, even without his clear intention to do so. He's much better at fighting than most Liannon, but has no magical skills of his own. His sole advantage is: having such a strong and uncommon character, Leo is very resistant against mental control/illusion sorcery.
Background/Bio/Short personal story:. Leocad was born a noble in Liannon society, the oldest among five brothers. His temper and flashy personality could make him rather unpopular, but being a skilled fighter and brilliant scholar eased this reputation. From an early age, Leocad was a constant presence in any counsel or study, but he still lacked friends. Even his family treated him as the 'black sheep', something he didn't care a bit. His life seemed pretty satisfactory, and no one knows the reason for his disappearance at the age of 89.
He just vanished from his homeland, and never returned. Even Leo can't recall the events of the next years... all he can remember, in confused flashes, is that he was found by a group of humans and captured as a wild beast. By the time, he was
really a wild beast; his clothes were just shreds, useless to cover his nude body. His hands, with long claws, were dirty and covered in dry blood, as was his face. His eyes showed a dangerous madness. During the next years, he worked as a slave, slowly recovering part of his sanity, but pretending to be just a stupid monster, having many masters and being sold as a product.
In a distant market, he was found by Erberus, who helped the Liannon to break the chains that made him captive. During his escape, Leo stole the magical rod of his master, as a form of payment for the months of hard work. The human gave him clothes, and said he was free, but the Liannon had another idea: would be with him until he could repay for all the help. More than once, he had the chance to finish his dept, but he always stayed with his new master, that he calls "Master Allen', and deeply cares about, to the point of overprotection. This weird decision, of great solicitude and subservience, is another bizarre trait of his bizarre personality. Against all possibilities, he's now the only ally this reclusive human really trusts. This part of Leo's past is not a secret, but it's still a delicate subject.
