Personality: not exactly a trust worthy fellow, do not trust him with any of your money, period. He will be almost a mile away with your money before you realize he is gone. You could call him a professional thief, and he has the personality to match. Though he isn’t excessive about his stealing, he only steals what he needs; he hates people who steal for the sake of stealing. He is also the sort who gets bored quite easily, and you can tell he is bored when he starts trying to rhyme the ends of his sentences. Despite everything he is a very caring a loyal friend to anyone who actually takes the time to get the know him
- he doesn’t drink and claims he finds the taste of alcohol disgusting
- never reveals his ears to strangers, only to people who he trusts or people who manage to find out on their own

Appearance: most would consider him to be handsome, but he never faults his looks. His bright green eyes hold stark contrast to his long locks of straight hair. He typically keeps his hair longer in the front, so his bangs can hang down and somewhat hide his appearance. He is rather tall for his age standing about 170cm (5 feet, 7 inches). More often than not, he dresses in common styles making him look like just another person in the crowd; it’s good for sneaking away after stealing. On occasion, he does like to dress up in fancier, more expensive clothing.
He is almost always wearing some kind of hat or turban. These are to hide his ears. He does not have human ears, as a result of an incurable curse laid upon his several years ago. He has the ears of a wolf. They function perfectly normally, and are actually indescribably better than human ears, but he still hides them all the time

Weapons/Equipment: he wears light chest armor under his clothes, other than that he doesn’t really bother with armor. He also has the typical set of items any thief worth his salt should: 6 throwing knives, one 12 inch knife, 3 lock picks, smoke bombs, 1 flash bomb, and a box of thumbtacks(?). of course, he occasionally has to restock.

Magical Skills/Gifts (if any): due to the amount of traveling he does and the eternal cold harsh winter, he has learned a small amount of fire magic. He doesn’t have much magical talent, thus he only uses it to start campfires

Background/Bio/Short personal story: he doesn’t normally share his story, as a thief you have to hide your identity as much as possible. A few facts from a person’s back-story is enough for a clever man to figure out who you are.

He never met his parents, he doesn’t know if he was just abandoned or if his parents died. He lived as an orphan for many years, but he left at the age of 10. the life of an orphan wasn’t good enough, he wanted to see the world. Of course, for a 10 year old trying to make their way in the world there is really only one thing you can do. You learn to steal, and quickly. He did, learning from some of the very best, by the time he was 15 he was what some would call a ‘professional’. Being such a good thief, and a teenager ended up making him rather arrogant. He made a few wrong decisions…
He made the mistake of stealing from an elf. The elf was rather old, and quite skilled in magic. The old elf decided to make the young and arrogant thief learn a lesson, so he cursed Raoul with the ears of a wolf.
Raoul tried for years to get them off, several people have tried, but the ears are permanent. At least Raoul did learn not to be so arrogant. This never stopped him from being a thief; but he did become a better person and stopped stealing just because he could.
